Decorating For Fall

Seeing all the halloween decorations at Mickey's Halloween Party got me in the mood to put out my pumpkins. I made a monogrammed pumpkin and drilled holes in the other one. Here's a daytime shot.

I took these tonight. I carved a small hole in the back of each pumpkin and stuffed Christmas lights inside; I also wound the lights around the wreath under the top pumpkin.

Your pumpkins are so pretty. You are so creative. I have no imagination when it comes to decorating. You sure must have inherited that from your mom.

I love you!!

How did you monogram that darn pumpkin... I want to do that. You have to share your secret. Great job!

Jon used notepad on our computer to print out a large R. I cut it out, making a stencil, then traced it onto the pumpkin. I used a sharp knife to carve out the R. You could also just paint on a letter, but I wanted it to light up at night.
