Shelby Farms

Savy woke up unusually early this morning. Jon made chocolate chip and M&M pancakes for breakfast...he always makes Savy's pancake with a smiley face.




After breakfast, we went to Shelby Farms. It was a little chilly today, but Savy didn't mind.








She loves playing with the pea gravel on the playground...she's obsessed with rocks.




Here's Jon throwing gravel at me...he's so mean!



Savy was a little hesitant to go down this spiral slide; it's taller and steeper than she's accustomed to.



She was sitting at the top thinking it over and accidentally slid down...here's Jon rushing to catch her.


After that, she'd only slide down if Daddy held her hand.


We shot video of her pretending to be a pirate...Captain Savy she calls herself, and this was her pirate ship.



Here's a video of her pretending to be a monkey...complete with "ooh, ooh, ahh, ahh" and scratching like a chimpanzee.



After the playground, we went to Target to buy Savy some new socks (she's outgrown her old ones) and one more birthday present. Then we had dinner at Newk's before coming home.
