In The Mood

I'm going to be making up for lost time these next 2 months. It's been so long since I've had a vacation! Next month, Jon and I are going to ride the train to New Orleans. He'll stay a week (work conference)...I'm leaving the day before his conference starts. My mom will pick me up from the train station (she's keeping Savy while I'm there), and Mom, Savy, and I will leave for East Tennessee the next day. I love the National Park and the surrounding towns. We used to go almost every year for vacation, and Jon and I got married there. I love hiking to the waterfalls and wading in the streams. And we can't wait to take Savy to Dollywood! Jon thinks the whole place is terribly boring, so he's not upset that he can't go.

In September, we're going to DisneyWorld again! Me, Jon, Savy, Mom, Jimmy (Mom's hus-friend), and Ron (Jimmy's son)...and hopefully Gloria and Ruth...are all going together. We are so anxious for Savy to experience Magic Kingdom. We're hitting all the parks...staying for 7 nights. My favorite is Epcot. We won't be staying in the deluxe resort at concierge level this time (overated anyway), but it is going to be a blast!
